Anyone in the biz of selling Tea Leaves?

And how come in Mombasa there are so many shops that exclusively sell tea leaves as the only product?

@Patosh: Thanks. What I saw @ Mombasa is a little different. Business people stocks,Tea leaves in those unga like 50kgs bag. Customer who comes from within and also from far and wide (Nairobi and upcountry) buys the product in packages ranging from 1/2 kg to Several bags. But its the rate at which customers frequent these shops that left we wondering....

I understand there is normally a tea leaves auction at the port of Mombasa and traders prefer to buy from there, the quality of the tea leaves is normally fantastic.

@ ruby : one mkenya told me the best tea leaves are meant for export only while we consume the waste(mabakio) n i believe the majani meant for export somehow finds their way to some cartels or something like that.

Always looking forward to excel
