There are some categories of entertainment in which the audience just prefer the illusion of reality be maintained, despite clear evidence that it would be unsustainable to be real. Examples are:

1. Pro Wrestling
2. Reality TV
3. Porn

All fall under acting, with special effects, editing and everything, but people would just rather believe that the actors are being natural, and feel betrayed when the opposite is revealed.

I suggest BOXING if you want the real deal.......

I reasoned out that wrestling is choreographed when I realised that people in Boxing take like 6 months to recover before they are fit for the next match but wrestlers show up the following week after a "beating". they rarely throw punches but use the arm to hit the other guy...some of those "moves" would do no thing to a well built guy. if you can survive a power bomb or suplex there is no reason to get "dazzed" by the "attitude adjustment" by john cena or that funny 619 move by Ray mysterio....

Soap opera for men

if it was "real" people would be learning the deadly moves of others, not keeping to their own signature "finisher" moves they would execute them as soon as possible...
have you ever asked yourself why there are no championship belt changes in "kawaida" matches? only in big "pay-per-view" matches do titles change hands. in kawaida matches u can only beat the champ in a non-title match or a disqualification.
