Last evening on Telly, Raila told the country that the MOU entered into between Kibaki, himself on the one hand and MPs on the other, is a mere Gentleman's agreement - to be dishonoured as they have now done!

The statement is factual but reveals dishonesty and cunning nature on their part.

For Raila, well there is that little matter of 2002 MOU in which Kibaki duped him!

One would think he wouldnt want to subject other people to such.

By his utterances of yesterday, he seems to legitimize rubbishing of MOUs.

Hence the 2002 claims should be buried.

Ngalaka , isnt this a matter of letters competing with the supreme law .Nani anashinda?

Mps are wasting their time contesting payment of taxes . Infact they should be negotiating with KRA on how they will pay their taxes.
Since , Kibaki , Kalonzo , Raila have paid and Mutunga will also pay and Kenyans have paid ,

Mps are on their own.

the mou was just interim individual agenda tailored to suit the individuals advancements in a common direction but having no benefits to the well being of the citizenry and the country's development...

it was not included in the old or new constitution...
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

Yeah right: and before Kibaki duped him, Raila had already duped Nyachae three hours after signing an MOU with Ford-P. It's amazing that many people don't remember that Raila made his famous "Kibaki Tosha" proclamation soon after signing an agreement with Nyachae's Ford-P.

Lesson: political MOUs are worthless pieces of paper!
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

This IDIOT going by the name "Fast&Furious" is copying other people's comments and pretending that they are his/hers/its.

Look at the time stamps.

Wazua, is there something you can do?

This thread is not about the merits and demerits of MPs paying or not paying taxes.
It is about PM taking different positions on the same issue depending on his convenience at the time.
