Last evening i was lost for words, when the substantive Speaker of the National Assembly painfully repeated the same old line that the two Principals had signed a letter excusing the MPigS from tax.

I frankly didnt know whether to be annoyed or sympathetic with the oaf.

This Marende character is an IDIOT. Who cares about their agreement? And who was he telling? Underpaid, overtaxed Kenyans struggling to cope with the rising cost of living. Did he expect them to give a s#!*

And Marende and all the MPigs who fell for this are as stupid as the come? Did they expect their agreement to supersede the constitution. Did they even read the EXACT wording? Article 210(3) of the new Constitution states "No law may exclude or authorize the exclusion of a State officer from payment of tax". Do you have to be a genius to understand this article? Are these the guys making our laws. They are just but a bunch of imbeciles!!! ABK!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Why don't the MP's go to court and argue that case: that they were given a letter of commitment by Kibaki and Raila not to be taxed?

The court will hold that Kibaki and Raila are not members of KRA and are therefore not authorised to enter contracts on KRA's behalf!

Some one mentioned here that the MPIGs are better off if they negotiate payment terms while still in parliament.... when they get out [and over 70% of them usually don't return] they will be in so much trouble!

But the idiots can't see the logic.

BTW: Have you noticed that the ones who are paying are those with a high chance of returning [taxes or no taxes]?
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
