The aura of invincibility that had cloaked roger Federer has been crashed.

"STOP all the cuckoo clocks, silence the cowbells and lower the Jolly Roger to half-mast.

The end of an era arrived at 4.24pm on Centre Court as six-times champion Roger Federer, a proud son of Basel and the finest tennis player of the 21st century, left the orbit of invincibles and became plain Basel Faulty."

As a big Nadal I was sad when he lost. He is the only guy who has beaten Djokovic in 2011.
I was hoping he would knock him out in the semis then Nadal would continue his domination of Mens tennis.
A great tennis player.

...Na hayo matako ya Nadal yanameza suruali yake nyeti...He is always fishing it out and I find it abit embarasing when the whole clan is watching. His designers cant come up with something better....But all the same an excellent player...

Nadal is still in it but what are his chances against Djokovic (if he gets past Andy Murray).

This year alone he has lost in 4 finals and all of them to Djokovic. On the other hand Djokovic has lost 1 game all year, to Roger Federer RF in Frech semis. That is my worry.

..this is Nadal chance, never look for the easy way out ma broda, you wanna beat your stiffest challenger, Tsonga might actually stop him in the semis!!!

So RF goes out leading 2 sets to love, that was a shocker even to the most ardent Tsonga fan, lakini remember he dispatched Rafa in the semis of queens, very unpredictable player making him more dangerous than the conventional well "big" four!! and you cannot play a muscle game with Tsonga you will loose and that's a fact thats what Roger tried jana when tsonga broke in the 3rd!

Is it the end of Roger? well i think not but he is approaching 30 in the summer do i see him adding his 6 Wimbledon crowns to equal the all time record held by pistol pete (Pete Sampras)7 i think not, but i see him adding a further US crown to his ever bludgeoning grand Slam titles.

We have a new generation of young tennis players on the rise and if you are an ardent fan you cannot look beyond Tomic and Dmirtov, these two will dominate mens tennis in the years to come.

Is this the end of the Williams sisters? the greatest female players of the last decade? jury is out on this!!

Anyone liking the grunt of Azarenka?? oh my word!! can you imagine enuff said.

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

The best of Federer is past. And he no longer has the hunger he used to have. He will win a few more tournaments then retire.

I doubt if Federer will win any more Grand Slams. He has been in Decline from Last year's French Open. The question is can Nadal match his Grand slam titles.

Azarenka and her grunting are out

Azarenka 1-6 6-3 2-6 Kvitova

So Djokovic it is.
The new Wimbledon Champion and the new World Number One.

The guys is having an incredible year. Half the year gone, 3 Grand Slams played the guy has just lost once.

Roger Federer still the only player to beat him.

Rafa Nadal, end of an era?

Novak proving to be Nadal's Achilles heel. The new world no.1 has beaten Rafael 5 times this year, na tuko mid year.

Kudos to Djokovic for a great match I was holding my breath when he surrendered the third set but in the 4th he showed why he is the best.

BTW what was wrong with microphones at Wimbledon...it was embarassing for such a big tournament!
