I was skeptical of the area coz one "Mzee Wambugu" owns thousands of acres land there, and he uses it for grazing his livestock, so didnt see scope for development. But you can get land at dirt cheap prices. The masais there just need cash....sadly to drink.
Could that be the same Wambugu Kariuki of Wakate Institute and Naciti Engineers? Very enterprising fellow.
I'm sure coz my old man mentioned something about Naciti Engineers. He owns hills n valleys, you can't see the end.
I was there in Dec coz old man knows most of the land owners there after working with them in the 80's n 90's, and they have been calling him about the land sales.
But the Wambugu massive land looked (to me) like it will reduce the pace of development, though people are still buying. One buyer is even putting a flower farm.
