KM says that he is willing to pay but he doesn't have money under the pillow.

Kalonzo again? Paying tax is an individual affair. Be realistic. I think you are willing to pay the way RAO did because he did it before you, but whichever means you use pay the tax. I pay close to 30% on my gross income (allowances plus basic)as tax. No paying tax by MPs, no heshima

and

Shuttle diplomacy won't work here Bw VP. Paying income taxes is a matter b2n an individual and KRA. Let each MP work his/her own way out on clearing arrears.

I was suspecting KM will say that he is waiting for his pay sllip and see if at all what he has he can remove something small or the taxman. Kama haitoshi, wangoje.

It is good for everyone to pay taxes. But on the other side, I am very suspicious of those who are able to pay taxes at a go. The majority of them got wealth through dubious means. They have millions lying in their accounts which the most of the honest ones do not.

This Kalonzo guy is not very bright, how can he say that unlike others he can't pay the entire amount at once because people will wonder where he got the money from. It means he has the cash but is afraid of what people will say. Not very bright.

BBI will solve it

I thought he said paying tax is a private affair, and should not be publicized...
