Evening bash Venue

Sometime in August am attending a wedding where i will the best man. It's now my responsibiltiy to come up with the venue for the evening party and am currently at my wits end as to where this can take place. Do any of you have suggestions of any place that can lease their venue for this occasion ..nothing to fancy,just some fab place where we can enjoy ourselves.

Also there is the small issue of the stag night..anyone who knows who i can contact??

@Dees,try Friend's Diner,lower hill,hapo Bunyala round about. Depending on the prefered location,budget and no,of people you plan to have,I found it a good place. Ample parking,whole place to yourselves,20kg goat and accompaniment,bring your own dj,decorations and gift for couple,all for 35k. For the stag,I can email you the details to your personal email,some place just after Braeburn. My 2 cents,tried and tested. Probably you could give us some details of what you're looking for in both...

Try the sailing club or Parklands Gymkhana. Sailing club has a bar and can also host a poolside evening bash with a berbeque corner.

@smano...i have been to friends awhile ago..really nice place i must say..in the 35k is it inclusive of dinner for like 15 people...could you be having the contacts as well?...e.tunkai (at) yahoo dot com..cheers man.

@pablo..sailing club is it sub aqua the one behind langata shopping center? coz i think that's a members only club..would like the contacts as well..!!.

Well am looking for a place that offers all that and a bag of fries..(sic) decent not necessarily classy,budget around 50k..nice music and all..am kinda out on alimb here ..really appreciate your help..

@dees,for 15 peeps you'd probably go for the buffet or a la carte menu,the 35k package is ideal for a group of 50+ people. I'll email you the details plus their contacts,I have their entire brochure.

But based on experience,15 people would not need you to hire a place coz that would be expensive,just get a reservation for a partitioned area or just a table,Galileos,as someone pointed out,have a great private section,all you need is to book it early.
