Mmmm!!....We might disagree but again that's why all of as are not in town.On my part,i enjoy the country in one of the most agri endowed areas and when i am home,i eat straight from the farm.As Young has put it too,i am close to a county HQ (10 minutes drive).....The air is fresh and the only noise pollution here is donkeys braying. That can't kill a man..........so agree with that.

@TPK do you really think your county or other counties will be the same way in the next 15-20yrs with the new constitution, a lot will change with time and slowly you will see people going back.....

TPK listen to the wise words of Njung'e. The whole of Upper Hill was once occupied by houses and so are many other neighbourhoods. Ever wondered why South B and C and no A? Well, it just happens that piece of industrial occupied land where Group 4, Marshalls and Enzogu are located was once designated as residential land and was identified as South A in Nairobi maps. I wouldnt advice on designating a piece of land that is only 20 km away from Nairobi City as a retirement home, but I guess tastes are different. When I get that at least 20 acre farm where I can create an artificial lake and populate it with wild swans, I will have found my retirement home!

I must say I am quite impressed by the quality of advice in this forum. Lots of respect to the elders, young and njung'e. I will reconsider the timing for building my retirement home and concerntrat on investing for now. Thanks guys!!
As long as you're going to be thinking anyway, think big
