Banks have stopped landing to the private sector due to risk aversion www.businessdailyafrica....2/-/v6y5yiz/-/index.html i'm going 100% on KK.

It is clear the banks r going to make tons of money from the short end of the govt.debt mkt (5-10%) & massive forex income like KCB c/o KK, KENGEN & KPLC.

On the otherhand, I am pleased @ CBK curtailing our shark banks by rejecting their bids on the repos last week & the latest 365 day issue. Bet they were over-bidding! Lol! Now the 91 day is coming off..good stuff Bw. Governor!!

@the deal, going 100% in one company Shame on you . Unless you are a speculator, and an extreme-risk-lover speculator in that case

@investor if I have 50K Kenol shares is better than having seeds in every basket on the NSE...demand for oil is infinity and Kenol can only grow into a global giant.

Investing in all the over 50 companies is completely insane. A well diversified portfolio pays well. Having around 3 counters.

Plus 1 or 2 counters under speculative holding

Seeing that we are on the issue of speculating on future prices...

I believe the share prices below are realistic, but which is more likely by end of 2011, and why/why not?...
Safaricom @4.50 (current @3.95);
Equity @28.00 (current @25.25)
KCB @28.00 (current @25.50)
KK @10.50 (current @9.70)

Think Eh?

First up is KK! (closed today at KSh 11.85, way above short-term expectation)
I wonder which one's next??? Think

Making money in shares is all about volume.......spread too much and you may as well invest in T-Bills or Bonds.

Happy hunting
