I think Malibu telecoms are the 'authorised' fundis for such. Best to visit a Safaricom centre to clarify

Now lets see, a new one costs ksh 8,499/- less scratch card (ksh 1,000/-) less 600 MB data (ksh 999/-), net damage to your pocket = ksh 6,500. If replacement cost of screen is ksh 2,500, that is what we call in management accounting an irrelevant cost, so the effective price of a new phone is ksh 6,500 less ksh 2,500 = ksh 4,000. You make the decision.

It's not about the cost but what the phone can do. I will never go back to the much hyped Nokia. Nowonder Nokia, the company, is dying since they have all along been selling useless overpriced phones to ignorant consumers.

@Murenj, Spare yourself the fundi's jargon of " Kuja Kesho", spare the 2.5k and save some more and buy another phone. Once the fundi's open the thing in the name of fixing, the damage will be much more than the broken screen! "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

Layman wrote:NO, ITS 2500+6500 = 9,000/= @Layman, a common error people make when taking decisions. I had put a case of repair or replace to @murenj. First, let us agree that to get back functionality of the idiot he MUST spend at least ksh 2,500. Whatever he does, he will part with at least ksh 2,500 – repair at ksh 2,500 or replace at ksh 6,500, which is more than ksh 2,500. That is what makes ksh 2,500 irrelevant to his decision making process. His question will then be, in order to replace, is he willing to spend ksh 4,000 on top of the ksh 2,500 he must spend? His dilemma will then be, will he spend ksh 4,000 to get a new phone? And that has been answered by @Gathige - is it worth it going through the kuja kesho routine in order to save ksh 4,000?

I believe Ideos performs way above several nokias. ..ION it's running in the same OS as Samsung Galaxy but do compare the prices. The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts while the stupid ones are full of confidence

My Ideos screen also cracked and the touch screen coulnt function. I went to Safaricom and they sent me to Malibu Telecom 5th Flr,Jeevan Bharati Building, Harambee Ave. They charge KES 1500 and they give you a receipt. It takes only 5 mins for them to replace the screen. I checked all the kienjeji fundis in town and they were demanding too much and when you tell them to fix the phone, they starting making calls looking for the screen. We live life and dream dreams. To be successful be real

I don't know the maximum capacity memory card the C3 can take. I suspect you might be trying to load a card of a higher capacity than it can handle. Try progressively lower capacities and see if you can get a fit.
