Is this this good or bad for the suspects.

I have always held that when it becomes apperent that ICC is inclined to convict the suspects, then they, in conjuction with the GoK will find reasons to disagree with the way the courts have handled the cases and stop cooperating with the courts.
The suspects will hence fail to honour any summons and just stay put in Kenya. The GoK on its part will refuse to hand them over.

In this scenario having the court sit in Kenya will compromise the GoK in more ways than one.

So if they are tried in Kenya, where will the guilty be jailed? At Kamiti?

Ocampo opposed the proposal.

So did the suspects save for Kosgey.
