@Drake,
C'mon.....Who's been the chicken all along?....Your Mayweather and he won't be taking a fight with Pac anytime soon.Know why?.He wouldn't last three with Pac in the same ring and he knows Pac is the best pound for pound.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Quite right @ Njunge. Mayweather has been stalling all along over the fight with Pacman. I think he fears Pacman. Na atanyoroshwa poa when they meet. Pacman is the best.

$32 million minimum for the night, $100 million for the year!!! And that's just in GUARANTEED income. Add to that share of revenue, sponsors, product placements, marketing/advertisement contracts etc. and the fellow is earning crazy money.

The fellow is also a business man! If he gets beaten by pac, his earning power diminishes greatly. Let him make his money first. Hopefully he will give the fans what they want in a year or two. Hopefully! He has to chose which is worse though. To actually be beaten by pac or go down in history as the 'champion' who avoided pac at all cost. Or he can fight him, earn crazy money and go down in history as true boxing great!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Perhaps Mayweather might beat Pacman. But one gets the feeling he does not want to take the chance, does not want to risk the unbeaten record getting sullied. His ego has grown to the size of a small planet -such a man would be afraid of a rival capable of tapping into a deep seated determination and doggedness cause the empire might come crumbling. IMO, he would retire greater even if he faced Pacman and lost rather than have a question mark on his career follow him the remainder of his life. Fans are so eager for this bout that if he denies them, the man who avoided pacman at all costs is all people will remember.
