Obama is the classic example of a man who succeeded largely from the efforts and support of a good wife

@Kasheshi,

I admire the levelheadedness of Michelle. U notice that despite her position in the society she puts her family first and is never full of herself. What a lesson to our successful women.

my take,
women are extremely important in our lifes. Those of us who are married and appreciate our better halves know that life would be extremely difficult minus our women. Since time immemorial,most societies never placed much value of any man without a stable family....and they were not wrong ... where I come from,you can never be categorized as a 'muthuri' if you've never married irrespective of success in any other front.

The role of a woman in man's life is both complementary and supplementary.

I often feel an overpowering urge to experience sex(I am virgin) but a wife is the last thing on my mind.I just dont see anything of value a woman can bring in my life apart from sex,food and children(I am sorry to all women).I have a feeling if I marry,my wife will be the most unfortunate woman coz I dont think I can emotionally connect with her.Thats my dilemma

Apparently,the reason the adage goes 'behind every successful man is a woman' is borne of this...u tell her ur dreams..she listens on..never criticise..then she dares u to do it...and u go off in a huff..n sooner or letter..u r the president of the U.S... Ofcourse the woman herself doesn't need a man...she just get's in for the ride..to see if trully he can..only that she is there even when he fails to succeed!... U can't say the same of your man friends! Come think of it..God created eve for adam..not steve or several boys to hang out with...plus i don't think adam knew of sex with him as a participant until he met her. The need for a woman surpasses the urge of sex that sheep is talkin off!

By the way,have you ever observed a man who's lost his wife? They have this lost defeated look. The drive for life disappears until that void is filled again.

@sheep,your name is fitting. Assuming one finds the RIGHT woman,she will be is compass,mirror,anchor,sail and many other things - she will spur him on when he is successful and lift him up when he is down. Think with your dick and that's as far as you will go in life....

The problem with equality is that we desire that it be with those that have more than us rather that those that have less

Utter nonsense!!! In fact,a majority of great men become successful first,then add a woman as an accessory,not to impune on all the wonderful women we have!
