I'm not worried about her, I'm sure she'll be snapped up sooner than later by one of the competitors to take on KCB. I'm worried for the rest and I wish them all the best. I'm sure some small banks will employ them but wonder if they'll have the passion to work there.

BBI will solve it

Kenya Commercial Bank, after finishing with senior management, is expected to turn the spot light on its middle-level managers in the next two weeks, in its ongoing restructuring aimed at cutting costs and boosting profits.

If she gets a similar position with say EB, you can be sure she will be so motivated to make sure she clinches the best deals and pull the meat out of KCB's mouth.... EB wouldn't have to worry about motivation.... "revenge" would do the magic!

what on earth is going on at KCB I hold a big chunk and i don't like these kind of stories. Is there a grand-coalition infighting anyone with inside info on how bad it is...there is trouble in paradise

"Peter Maina Munyiri, one of KCB’s directors who survived the recent restructuring, has resigned barely a week after he was appointed as chief business officer for Kenya.

The bank’s CEO Martin Oduor-Otieno Tuesday said Mr Munyiri, formerly deputy CEO in charge of group business and Mr David Thuo, the head of treasury, had left the under its “voluntary early retirement programme.” But analysts said the exit was a fallout from the restructuring being spearheaded by McKinsey management consultants that scrapped some positions."

The whole restructuring is a big mess....whole organization histrory gone...latest rumour is that CBK rejected Munyiri's appointment to board of directors...

There is no fallout between anyone... KCB simply hired consultants to boost operational efficiency which include restructuring of management...

All retired directors were more than understanding and were given severance packages that even michael joseph would envy..
That doesnt sound like a fallout to me but rather super duper profits coming my way...
