@mwanahisa I hear you. The results and direction company is taking is good.

It's just that when I consider most are revaluations of non-trading assets:

--I simplify my vision of ultimate value only to appreciation of their share price
--For Real Estate more concerned with rental yield than appreciation of asset
--For Private Equity more concerned with dividend yield or share of associates cash profits

I'm impressed for example with the approach for Quoted Instruments where superior investment and disposal of Carbacid generated positive cash flow.

Centum plan to exit two counters on the NSE this year to go into geothermal...uhhmm who do u think is on the chopping board?

Earnings up also cause of their sell carbacid..appreciation of Uap and Kwal...like i said on my blog Centum is fairly priced folks...i also think their too over ambitious...but i like their diversification game plan...i hope folks at Britak are learning 1 or 2 things...where do u think triple digits will come from in 2011? unless they continue selling their quoted shares.

How can aiming for the sky be termed too ambitious?

@muganda centums current path scares me... If they continue to attribute most of their earnings to revaluations and fair value gains then rather than cash fllow gains then what to them happens when the bears are set loose upon us..

Oh @muganda btw for those who seek rental income, dividend income, the fair value gains, the appreciation of real estate and the whole package from farmers choice to bujagali and from insurance to fibre optic cables look no further JUBILEE'S in town... Laughing out loudly

I also really wonder what will bring in the profits for these guys in 2011..
Certainly they wont match last years earnings unless they decide to revalue their assets which will also be a heavy dissappointment
