This competition was to end end March and a winner of 30million declared. I see now that it was extended yet no one won the jackpot. I think this is how Kenyans are conned by these gambling companies, they do this then they wind up with all our money in their pockets. We need a stronger body to protect Kenyans against these money makers. But that's my opinion, what do you think?

BBI will solve it :)

Another one is tazama chapaa na Citizen...In the begining it was about thanking their fans for making citizen NO.1 so customer were supposed to sms and win big for watching citizen ...but lately its about the more you sms the more your chances of winning Big.

I think kenyans are really gullible obviously after you sms the first time they ask youmore than three questions and you end up paying more than the 25/= you were willing to spend.

This is pure Robbery....But as they say Mjinga akierevuka .......

@selah I think SK is now running a casino and not a media house.Already there is one that runs in his inorero fm station,called "kanya kanya"the thing is so popular more listeners are concerned about about winning(there are four 10k winners in a day and a grand prize of 1mil every month) than they are about the 7oclock news.

But at least the competition is done in moderation not like that annoying one on KTN.

By the way considering that they give 500k everyday how much do you think they make?

A buddy of mine sent two texts to KWACHU near the draw time. One of his tickets was around number 58000 and the other was 400 so assuming ticket numbers are incremental and reset after every draw then approx. 58000 texts are sent a day so they could be making roughly 2.9m a day.

Very annoying and sad, i have a major beef with citizen, first they do not say there are any payments and then the way they advertise is horrible. But also betting control and licensing board is giving Kenyans a raw deal by allowing sms lotteries yet they had been outlawed!
