How is Nokia E7 compared to an iPhone 4 (expensive), BlackBerry Storm, HTC, Motorola Droid and Samsung Galaxy?
I'm looking for a good business smart phone. Please advice.
Budget Approximate: 45k

BBI will solve it

Guys, what's really wrong with the Nokia E7 other than being on symbian platform which I didn't think was that terrible?

The symbian on E7 is not the kawaida s60 one.It is very fast, light & has a great look and feel almost comparable to Android/Iphone.

2012...you could also consider Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (47K) with that budget.Runs on Android.

Used to be a diehard Nokia fanatic until I discovered android. Besides being really cool, the best thing is you can get literally any app - for free. Any s60 app you want - they want your credit card details.
As for BB, android will give you real time access to your emails and the internet is on tap, certainly for much less than BB's monthly charges. Like @QW has said, Nokia's best days are behind them, unless they can power their phones with android.

The following article summarises the impending passing away of Nokia.

Please note that as I had proposed Nokia do in post no. 8 above, Android was going to be their saviour. Note that Samsung put Android on their phones and they are now the top smart phone in Western Europe, Nokia’s home market.

Android has really kiled Nokia . literally ...The problem with this big companies is that they are so slow to adapt..Maybe they though android was a fad...that would pass way in a months time ...lol

We will see where windows 7 will take them..

Plz stay away from both BB storm 1 & 2.
I had the BB2 till early this year.

The worst money i ever spent.

Hangs very often esp when running 4 apps at the same time. u even have to take out the batt to restart.

Batt power doesn't last long eventually u'll be carrying the charger around or at least have on in the car!smile

Updating to OS 5 or later is almost impossible.

However the camera is pretty good for a 3.2Mp.

If u really must get a BB I would recommend bold 2 or 3. gr8 phone worth every penny.

BB Bold 2/3...fell in love with it the moment i held the box..any businessmans worthy companion...and with Safaricom 3G, u cant wish for anything better (tho im on Airtel Sad ) however, once a day charge for frequent usage should be good to go..

Samsung Galaxy S = 43k from Safaricom. Excellent reviews online, and should keep you going for quite abit. 1Ghz processor
iPhone4-Unless u can shop in the US...
HTC - lots of options but not easily acquired locally.
Nexus One - quite cheap I must say - if you can ship one in. Nexus S is ~529$ new
The HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy S and Nexus One are all relatives.
Clueless about BB

Nokia finally killed symbian. Symbian has been pulling them down way too long - now finally I may consider owning one. So far, they have a windows mobile OS phone, but am sure Android is on the way.

Budget phone, strange colors. The 303 one is quite powerful as long as you don't pick a pink one.

Try Sony Ericsson though.
