Manchester United legend Paul Scholes hangs up his boots after a glittering career in which he won everything including 10 premier league titles. He was the best midfielder of his generation.

Paul Scholes has finally retired after a very successful career with Manchester United. As an ardent Man U fan I would like to thank him for his hard work as a Man U player and most importantly for his loyalty to the team - something you rarely find in modern day football. Thankfully, he will be joining the coaching staff. Maybe be he can pass some of his qualities to the upcoming players - apart from his tackling of course Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly - on a lighter note.

This will open an overhaul of the team in the midfield department. Giggs should also have followed suit esp after being outclassed by Xavi & Co.

Thank you Paul Scholes,

I loved the way this guy passes the ball...sad
age has caught up...

@Maich Yes I truly agree with you I hope he does not pass to the younger players those tackling skills...

But then again he tried to perfect his tackles/mis-tackles throughout his career...he never gave up...even when we all knew he would goof...that's the way to go... smile

Even Zenedine Zidane asked Beckham how it was to play alongside Scholesy. He was hailed by the playmaker Xavi.
