.............That figure looks much but a good number of players would make more than that in three weeks wages.

My only problem is that Barca are the designated home team so I wont see my beloved Red and White kit!!

United have not conceded 'away' from home. Let's hold on to that.

So we are gonna be the Away team, playing on white kit, the underdog, the team that with no 84.5m prize to play for. Am i the only one liking our 'position'?

And now if only Carrick concentrates...

@Mwenza...That's the bonus for WINNING the CL Cup, 650,000 pounds for one match is quite alot. Messi, Iniesta and Xavi will each earn 1m pounds (one match). Man Utd players will get half of that each 45m each, excluding tax. La liga players always end up earning more than Premier league players because of favourable tax regulations. Just take a look at this clause in the UK Finance Act

"Schedule 20 of the Finance Act 2010 deals with the Champions League final and specifies that any 'employee or contractor of an overseas team which competes in the 2011 Champions League final' will be exempt from tax.

The Act specifies that players are 'not liable to income tax in respect of any income arising to the person which is related to duties or services performed by the person in the United Kingdom in connection with the final."

Rooney makes about 108M in a month!!!

My point was, it's only a handful that can make that amount in 3 weeks. Most would make it in 3 months.

Tell me how how on the earth Man-U will beat: Valdes; Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Puyol; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Messi, Villa.

The good news for Man is that they will go down 2-0 early on in the game.

By playing 4-4-2. VDS; O'Shea, Rio, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Giggs, Park; Rooney, Chicharito.

Chicharito's speed can break Mascherano and Pique.

I'll repeat this once again, unless Man Utd play Fletcher in midfield (whether fit or not) kesho itakuwa kichapo....Carrick will be Man Utd's weakest link.

@Jus Blazin, Chicha is a good player but only when he receives good supply from the midfield players. If Giggs and Co fail to deliver on the night then the Mexican will be a frustrated player at the front.

You might be right there Taz but unfortunately it seems more likely that Fletcher will start on the Bench cause He is not fully fit.

In many parts of the world, Ferguson, Giggs, Rooney and Scholes are by far the most renowned contemporary Britons, worshipped in places where the names Wills and Kate induce mere blank expression. Only one team can rival them for international standing: Barcelona.

Which is what makes Saturday's collision so compelling. This is the showpiece conclusion the Champions League was invented to deliver, the football equivalent of the heavyweight title fight. And not just any heavyweight championship, either: this is Mohammed Ali against George Foreman. It is Rafa Nadal against Roger Federer.

Twenty-seven trophies shared between them this century gives clue to their dominance; here are the game's two leading clubs meeting on the final day of the season to battle for the claim of which is the world's most significant. That is what is at stake.

For the sake of Barca, I hope Pep is not making the same mistake.

All you supporters for hire - Don't switch off your phones. And show up back here after the game to congratulate Man Utd for a job well done. You can also start refining your excuses in advance.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
