If I can get 5 bob, I will bail out. It's been too long.
However, if it gets to 2 bob, I will buy!

Is there a relationship between the re listing and the court case being thrown out.

Excitement as Uchumi returns to the NSE: Our Analysis

I tore down Uchumi into pieces find out why Uchumi is most likely to open higher than Ksh 14.50 here http://contrarianinvesti...-returns-to-nse-our.html

I was a voyager on SS Uchumi when it sunk, and am not bailing out when its resurfacing for the following reasons:

- There will be a shortage of tradable shares (total minus top 10 minus those not under CDS). Of these, not everyone will be selling

- This stock is sitting in w/o for most, no need for panic-selling

- Pre-receivership Uchumi was worth 14.5, why should profitable uchumi be worth less? The stock can be treated as a growth stock by the more patient, hence PV of future cash flows is much higher than current price

most Uchumi shareholders even forgot that they had shares there meaning there will not be very much enthusiastic sellers.

@deal, good job at your analysis though I think it could have been better. It leaves me, a layman, more confused than informed. For starters, what is 'NET AVERAGE VALUE'

It might open high because of excitement but it will not close the week above 8/- My reasons:

- Increase of number of shares from 180m to over 250m
- Offloading by annoyed investors who's monies have been locked up in this prison till now.
- Low confidence from new investors making it a speculative counter.

Btw, who are the new/current Directors?

BBI will solve it
