I'm more interested in what you told her about it...you afterall shape her world view. We've tried judges who have the appearances of being prim and proper and conform to our idea of what a judge should look like and act. The earring might do the trick. @Forsport, Touche I would be a very proud father if my stud (its not an earing) wearing son was nominated to be chief justice. Do we know what the rest of the people we've put in positions of responsibility are up to? I'm more concerned about putting in place someone who can get the job done, than with what he's wearing or doing behind closed doors.

He reckons proposed CJ and his deputy are known activist and were involved in KGLBT formation. One of them is working on gay-ism as a thesis for their PHD it was alleged. Now, people are a;ready complaining that the constitution was written by activist, now it will be implemented by the same activist. And who funds these activist? Foreign governments of course. This guy has held other important positions in the society and nobody was complaining, he also appeared before the JSC with his earing and they had the confidence to give him the job. Lets him do the job if he has the skills. A decision to divorce is rather personal and unless we have serious doubts about his morals, then we need not bash him. Shame on you Samoei Ruto and the likes, who are you to judge others on the public podium yet you also have many alleged evils in your closet.

I am so saddened that suddenly Kenyans are so concerned about morality. How many of our leaders can actually stand up and be counted where morality is concerned and who decides whats moral and what is not in our society? Can we attack people on what value they would add to jobs and not what they wear, eat or drink!

Here's a question: Assuming you were wrongly accused, would you rather face a corrupt judge, a judge that has happily served in a corrupt system or one who granted his wife a divorced when things didn't work out? ...One divorce is OK...Lakini mbili...Something must be wrong with you... eeeeeh, do you know how many good men and women wish they were divorced but they cant because of "society views"? So essentially, in their hearts, they divorced like 10 years ago. But in terms of legal standing and society perspective, they are married..... I'd rather know your true standing. @Wendz ...At least mine is working...but I cant brag because i dont know for how long...When the shit hits the fan, I will let you and others know...Right now ...all is well!!!

Honestly, are we looking for a role model or a chief justice? Even the wisest man who ever lived, King Solomon had his flaws. Ask your kids what they thought of the former Chief Justice most will ask 'ati who?' And those who know about him like myself have nothing to write home about, better still what's there to say about Wako as a role model or Attoney General? I'd rather Dr Willy with a nose ring, and Tyson's face tatoo over Mr. nolle prosequi. BBI will solve it :)

I hope you didnt take my comment "personal"... it was a general comment not directed to you and your marriage..... I wouldnt wish your marriage went that route... what i meant was, him divorcing twice is not such a big issue given that we have many families just hanging in there.

Its ok for him to wear studs but i find his reason satanic. The saddest thing for me is that the court of public opinion seems ok with the earring yet it castigated Sonko for the same.
