What is the job description? DOES HE HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THAT JOB? If yes, I dont care if he reports to work in skins and hides.

Time will tell whether he does or doesn't have what it takes to get the job done, i.e, if he succeeds to land the job...

That is why the current men and women who competed were noted to have failed miserably when they had the chance. Time told on them that they did nothing useful.

Remember some even said they are unaware of corruption in the judiciary. Some ran their offices as they would their own houses treating everybody else as kindergarten children. From that pool of candidates, whom did the anti Mutunga proponents want?

And Mutunga is not my dad neither will he be my parent if he becomes cj. How he runs his house is irrelevant to me.

Wiser, we are not Americans. What is the problem? Lets keep the main thing the main thing.

Here's a question:
Assuming you were wrongly accused, would you rather face a corrupt judge, a judge that has happily served in a corrupt system or one who granted his wife a divorced when things didn't work out?

...One divorce is OK...Lakini mbili...Something must be wrong with you...

eeeeeh, do you know how many good men and women wish they were divorced but they cant because of "society views"? So essentially, in their hearts, they divorced like 10 years ago. But in terms of legal standing and society perspective, they are married..... I'd rather know your true standing.

well, he'd have killed his first wife when it didnt work.... and the second too...

But really, given his credentials, his previous work for the country especially in the change to a new constitution, I'd be willing to give him they job any time...... Why stick with all these smart rotten judges that we have had all this time? haijatusaidia... imesaidia tu the suit wearer high and mighty! Lets try the earring wearer... it might bring us justice.

About the earing you people have forgotten too quickly what our forefathers did with their ears maybe you can check the maasai wazees for a reminder. Its clear why the JSC choose Willy cause of his past deeds (a reformer), his qualification(PHD) and above all he hasnt served in our tainted judiciary system period.

Our forefathers wore earrings but their reasons were very different.

Anyway, since our forefathers also walked half naked or even naked, should we allow our high office bearers also to walk half naked? I don't buy his explanation for wearing them at all.In my opinion the guy has a mid-life crisis and uses a silly explanation to cover it up.

To digress, am i missing something ama the JSC was supposed to offer three names for each office. Someone please clarify.....Eh?

If you had a tumor and there were two surgeons, the best being a gay man, drunk, atheists etc and another a good family man, religious etc but was the worst surgeon with an abysmal track record.

Of the two, whom would you allow to operate on your brain?

I'm more interested in what you told her about it...you afterall shape her world view. We've tried judges who have the appearances of being prim and proper and conform to our idea of what a judge should look like and act.
The earring might do the trick.

Picture this; a father complaining that his children have become deviants because a chief justice has studs...and they followed the chief justice example, which is supposed to be wrong....

I am not saying magigi is such a father, but accusing third parties for spoiling ones' children tells discerning eyes what kind of parent one is.
