Remember CNBC-A it was supposed to take care of that; but then....it stopped free-to-air transmission. Viewers are not interested in business, therefore, TV stations don't put much effort in it.... after all, "hakuna mtu an ngojea kuona business"

I concur with u 100% Very few Kenyans look forward to biz news..goes to show how much of a HR "good job" economy/mindset we have. The othr thng that irritates me a lot is when they display losers & gainers in number terms & NOT percentages!! Argh! esp.KBC! I gaurantee u that KCB's 3.8% drop today will not show. Nkt!

Am not sure it is the citizens problems. if you are fed with the crap they give us day in day out, what would be the use of sitting till 10pm to just click your way to sleep? I'd rather sleep then come and check it up in either wazua, rich, mystock, bloomberg and others... well, i know sometimes wazua also shows old news but it is much more reliable than watching tv news coz you can verify with other "bloggers".

I watched CNBC news alot of the times... and since i dont watch the soaps, i am stuck with K24 sports which i dont like much and any other thing they bring. I know for sure if we had reliable business news, i would be a mteja wa dhati(sp).....

CNBC-A is too South African it should be SNBC-SA. I'm sure if someone did Kenyan business news it would really catch on. Kenyans are always constantly looking for opportunities to make money but lack ideas.

BBI will solve it

@Wendz,

you surprise me as a lady who loves business news. Am yet to meet a lady who gives a hoot whenever business news comes on TV or elsewhere.

Today, am worse off for not having met you cauze it would have been such a wonderful experience keeping each other updated on business trends as a couple. The home would have generated business savvy kids and future business magnets. What's your take on that?
The signature of God runs in all things. Only fools fail to see it and believe in Him. However, others see it even where non exists - now you see where the false pastor comes in.

How comes no local tv station gets business and sports reporting right? I was watching some soccer highlights and they just cut when the ball is about go in! Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly On business, they never really seem to know the actual story or the picture that goes with it unless it's a Safaricom story where they just splash the scom building on the screen and That KCB business weekly which is 99% boring KCB staff and stuff.
