how do they get shareholders'email addresses? hawakuniuliza..

They printed the email address under the results they posted in the newspapers. So just send your email to shareholder@kenkob.co.ke

I think KK's dividend payout date is 18 May 2011

Our KK guru could mistake such an important date? Ama ni controvesy unatafuta? LOL! Haiya boss, there U have it then. Lolest!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Let me clarify:

- The 'dispatch' date for chqs is around 16 May 2011
- Most folks will receive it starting 18th May 2011 [by the time posta delivers]

If you have RTGS, will you receive it earlier?

My experience with KCB is within 24hrs for direct credit then the warrant snail mails later. I should expect the same with KK.

I think GG also alluded to KK going the Mpesa way and members present at the AGM were issued with forms to fill out their details... if so, kuna namna ingine ya kupeana izo details??? BTW been to their site and didn't see anything close to such a form!

How comes people never see Mpesa as expensive? I've always found Mpesa to be expensive but maybe the convenience outstrips the cost. But imagine if they passed the cost of sending via mpesa too to you (btwn 1-5000/- you pay 55/-)

Good question! Though it is risky to accept dividends mandates without full confirmation & verification of the applicant's details...

The Kenolkobil Opt In Dividend Payment form (that is the name) is a Livingstone Registrars document, with a Deloitte letterhead. It is to be submitted to Deloitte by 30th June and says 'Kindly note that future dividends will be paid by Mobile Money Transfer Service.' Since the due date is end June, I presume this is for dividends after the one we are all waiting for.

Quite an informative article. Well done KK! Clearly shows where the blame lies.

Its very typical behaviour from those cahoots whose sole agenda is to distort the Oil industry while holding it @ransom for speculative purposes!! BK!

Interesting...GoK and related crooks always trying to hoodwink us with no facts. KK do their homework. Given a choice between believing Jacob Segman/KK compatriots versus Nyoike and his sidekicks there are no prizes for guessing, which way I will LIE.

-Dividends paid through MPesa

- Pay prepay power through Mpesa

- Water bills paid through Mpesa

- DSTV subscription paid through Mpesa

- Loans for SME paid through Mpesa. And the list continues

How do you hama?

I did not know other companies have followed safaricoms stratergy. Why not use info already at CDSC where consent has already been given or alternatively activate through your mobile. Your CDSC should alredy have your mobile number as happened in the case of safcon.
