@mycool, you have only missed the 0.6 which should be 0.06. The other charges sum up to 0.3% making the total charges 1.3%. The breakdown is as follows:

Brokerage Commission 1.00%
Cds Transaction Levy 0.06%
Cma Guarantee Fund 0.01%
Cma Transaction Levy 0.12%
Cdsc Guarantee Fund 0.01%
Nse Transaction Levy 0.12%
Stamp Duty Charges (Transaction Amount/10,000 X 2
Total Commission 1.32%

“This is a very competitive market and for CFC to do that it is not good, one per cent is too low and unsustainable in the Kenyan market due to the low volumes. Overall commissions may come down and it is not good for the industry,” said a broker who requested anonymity due to his business relations with CFC.

I am not happy that they take such a long time to execute orders. I put in an order request last week and four days later nothing, in the meantime the share i wanted has risen by a few shillings.....

T (Today) + 4 working days. Meaning that if you buy shares today on Thursday, you can only be able to sell them next week on Thursday.
