Just saw an ad in today's nation newspaper on page 48 about this new development by Jamii Bora Makao Limited. The development is in Kaputiei within Kisaju off Namanga Road consisting of two thousand houses at 2br @ 1.2m, 4 br at 1.6m for Jamii bora members.

Sounds too good to be true, is there anyone who has dealt with this organisation before?

Is it the same Jamii Bora or another company by the same name?

Is there a website or other source of info for more details on this? remember the devil is always in the details. I hope its not another case of tropical green estate smile

There is no website, google search produces nothing. There is also no information on the Jamii Bora website.

There is an Information day on Saturday at their offices on Funzi Road, not at the site. mmmh

If the houses are where I think they are, Julius Kipngetich has a major issue as they are in his national park and bang in the middle of a migratory route. Caveat emptor.

just like another organisation that went under with poor peoples' money "shangilia baba na mama" they seem to target the poor who would like to own homes then disappear after making a kill.

If it is the same Jamii Bora associated with the Baraka Fund of which one of the principals is the CEO of Olympia, I would be pretty wary.

For information purpose, Jamii Bora has done an excellent job in their constructions. See their construction/Estate by copying these coordinates into Google Earth 1°36'26.40"S 36°50'9.93"E

Interesting. I am not in the market personally, but this is appreciated. It's just that the Olympia chap really galls me.

Vinii - just highlight with cursor, right click to copy, and then just paste in Google Earth. Quite a simple task.
