so many cooks here. When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

Man U will definitely be playing for a draw which will all but ensure the EPL trophy starts its normal journey home. Man U playing for a draw? I highly doubt! Do we even know how to do that? Man U plays to win - in every game. Why would SAF even consider playing for a draw with Arsenal? Those would be 2 dropped points - not one earned. I would understand playing for a draw against Chelsea because they are the only realistic challengers but even then I doubt SAF would/will play for a draw. Picture this [theoretical scenario]: If we drew against Arsenal and Chelsea wins against Tottenham, then our lead is slashed to four points. If in the next game Chelsea beat us, then the lead is cut to one point with two games remaining - with Chelsea having a superior goal difference! Who wants that? In my book, the game against Arsenal is a must win. A win against Chelsea after that and the cup is back home. As earlier stated, Drogba, Cech, Lampard, Malouda, Luiz, Essien, Anelka and crew then give us a lap of honour - now that will be sweet. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

We are going to Wembley. Not that therewas ever any doubt. What an enthralling first half although no goals, thanks to the massive Neuer. And a very clinical 2nd half worthy of past Man U sides. Of course the evergreen Giggs finishing off the first crucial goal. Then Resurgent Rooney did just what the doctor ordered. Wow!

Schalke 04 are an awful side! They even made Carrick look good! I expect 4:0 at Old Trafford. Definitely Man Utd are through to Wembley. Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

65% possession. United were too good for the German team. Unlike Inter, United did their homework. It was so one-sided, I felt pity for Schalke. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Man U won the game but with many chances wasted. Schalke will not recover that at OT. Waiting for the Barcelona vs. Real game to see their next challenge. Birds of a feather flock together

It was like Man U were in a training ground. TOO many wasted chances but credit to Neuer. It was mostly Man U vs Neuer. Too bad he will probably end up at Bayern Munich instead of OT! @kingfisher upishi ni lazima...you know your team is good when it has reached that stage of the competition where only one match is shown in a night! That said, Schalke just didn't show up for the match as I expected they would so Wembley here we come. As for Neuer, I hope Bayern don"t qualify for the CL and they're also unable to afford him - then he changes his mind and comes to OT. The guy is that good BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

It was indeed Man U vs Neuer!! Hernandez and rooney's combination is far much better than when Berba is in the mix.
Neuer - Pls join Manutd instead!!!I wish united fans can place banners everywhere at OT begging Neuer to join us instead. We need him more than Bayern needs him.

Before the match I had indicated that I will take a 2-0 scoreline. I must state however that during the match, I got greedy and would not have minded 6-0. IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

....."That concentration meant that United became the first team to go through this competition without conceding a goal away from home. Those six clean sheets also meant that Van der Sar also became the first goalkeeper to reach 50 shut-outs in the Champions League. They weren’t the only records set. There was also high praise for Giggs who, aged 37 years and 148 days, became the oldest player to score in the Champions League, beating the record of Filippo Inzaghi (37 years and 86 days)" ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

This guy is probably the best keeper I've seen in a very long time. The kind of support Bayern Munich receive in Germany is similar to Man utd in England that's why i think Neuer would rather join a big club at home than make a big money move to England....plus Bayern would ensure he maintains his spot as Germany No 1. Anyway all is not lost for Man Utd fans Van Der Sar has hinted that he might stay for one more year.

Was looking at the worst case scenario where Schalke would have been "stubborn" at home last night. In that case SAF would not have minded fielding the likes of Wes brown,Jonny evans, gibson and berbatov against aseno in order to secure a Wembley outing the following wednesday. Even now I guess SAF would still have a change of personnel at the emirates. I don't expect Giggs, for instance, to feature in that match. Make no mistake, Man U won't be adventurous at the emirates. I see them sitting back and hitting aseno on the break. Consolation is,as shown in the last game between the two sides, that any Man U side is capable of getting a result against aseno. Jose Mourhino at his best: ....."The row centred on last week’s Copa del Rey final, won 1-0 by Real. Guardiola had been quoted after the game as saying that a Barcelona equaliser from Pedro, ruled out for a fractional offside, had only happened because of a “linesman’s good eyesight” and that Barcelona had lost the Cup by a couple of centimetres. This was music to Mourinho. “We have started a new cycle,” he trumpeted. “Up until now there were two types of coaches. A very small group who didn’t talk about referees and a very large group in which I am included, who criticise referees when they make big mistakes but who are also very happy to praise the great work referees can do. “Now, with Pep Guardiola’s statements, we have come to a new era with a third group, featuring only one person, who criticises good decisions made by the referee. I have never seen this before in the world of football!” ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

......This reminds me of one of Mourinho's statements while still at chelsea. The statement was made at the start of an EPL season and he was quoted as saying: "THIS SEASON, THE WINNER OF THE EPL WILL COME FROM A SMALL GROUP OF ONE" IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN
