Finally finished restructuring my portifolio for 2011

In: Mumias (Industrials)
Out: Kenya Re (Financials)

Mumias~Good weather...increased sugar output which means mumias will have more sugar to sell...COMESA is politics...Mumias is the pride of Western Kenya its too big too fail...ethanol, power gen and H2O are other added benefits.

Cde, this is the perfect forum for you to talk freely on the reasons of your earlier mentioned apathy towards Mumias

I said that my outlook for MSC is hazy predominantly because I slept on the wheel - directed my research elsewhere. The operating environment became un-predictable hence I stopped benefiting from Buy Weakness strategies having mastered the half year business cycles. Furthermore, dividends became un-certain, frustrations with TARDA so I washed my hands & left the dining area. MSC might be back in my X-hairs FY2012.

In terms of competition Mumias is having it rossy. The new cane comoanies are giving better prices and making payments much earlier.

Mumias has to strategise on the TARDA project since that is its main saviour.
