Does anyone know where I can buy a genuine set of professional hair clippers in Nairobi - preferably Andis or Wahl.

Already checked the major supermarkets...most of them just have the basic Philips home kits.

Just wondering, can't a barber shop along Kirinyaga Street tell you where they source from?

There is some place along the latema road river road junction. They sell the originals. Be careful because I once bought a Chinese fake wahlfrom a supermarket and it did not last very long.

There's a ka shop on river road. From Odeon walk towards River road then take a right turn. Its like the second or third shop there. Sells also salon stuff i think. They sell wahl-original. Cant remember what its called though. Bot one at 4k almost 5yrs ago n its still good. A barber can assist, they all seem to know the shop
....above all, to stand.

.... I have a battery operated home trimmer that I bought in 1987 when my beard became too big! It has been working like magic all these years but I recently dropped it and broke one of the screws that hold the cutting blades. Struggled with it for a few months and finally bought a replacement from Nakumatt. Can't recall the make, but I hope it will last the next 25 years......
