This is one hell of a hopeless elitist who uses his gut feeling to pretend to analyse goings on in Kenya from distant lands!

The article below is a one such outburst!

He must worship Ocampo!!

Wonder what he would have to say should his hero lose the cases against the 06.

...so what did you want him to do? Compose poetry for the good deeds of the two? You dont have to live in Kenya to know how fithy these two guys are. It is sad that you see things this way.

This man masquerading as Buffalo professor has been writing very low quality articles and wonder whether he rereads before forwarding to Nation, but what work do the editors do if they cannot be able to advise the Buffalo proffesor.

Having read his articles, i gave up after seeing how one dimensional the guy thinks. At least with Ngunyi there was the flip side of the coin analyzed. I stand to be corrected but i believe political science unlike other sciences is not an exact science and is subject to a lot of transformation.
Ive come to notice that our news papers are filled more with opinions rather than factual news!

Indeed Nation media house is on a mission.

The seirialisation of Joe Khamisi's book is yet another attempt in this mission.

The heading seems inappropriate as Raila ploted to undercut both Kalonzo and Uhuru in equal measure if not more.

Back to Prof. Makau

His biases are too obvious as well as deep seated, for a scholar who seeks to sell himself as a liberal.
A few years back he was hobnobling with Githongo - as the latter's lawyer.
The militant civil society approach must have served as inhibitions to the Professors success as a lawyer.
Just what are the prof's tangible contributions and achievements in buiding Kenya, as he critises all and sundry!

Teaching in the US perhaps.

Nation promised to carry the second part of J.Khamisi book serialisation today.
Can't find the story.

Someone advise

This prof. is so crude, he is not able to conceal on whose side he is. His stay at uncletoms has given him an attitude problem evident in his column where he attempts to lecture down on kenyans every sunday.

Whatever the good professor's shortcomings - and he has many like any other human being - am surprised at the venom directed at the fact that he resides in the U.S. - criticism should not focus on a person's personal attributes such as where he stays but on what he espouces (as some have commendably done).

This is one bandwagon I will not be hopping on.

Why is it that Sunday Nation's columnists draw the most attention from Kenyans? Is it that the Sunday Nation is the most widely read? Is it that they purposely put polarising columnists on the job? Is it that Sunday is the day people have the most time to peruse through the whole paper and debate afterwards? What is the secret?

In as much as i don't like his one sided 'prophecy', let him have his say. Democracy is agreeing to disagree as long it doesn't amount to incitement, hate speech, slander or libel.
