same case with Liverpool game against Gunners, it was in their best interest(18 cups) to lose the match at the emirates..at the end of it all, they felt like they had just handed the record (19th cup) to nuggus(tremble team)....Lucas to us was the idiot.
by buying Owen, nuggus saved newcastles face and i bet they will want to pay them back...
