I hope Stoke beats Shitty.

I can't imagine Shitty finally winning a trophy. It is even worse given the fact that Man U should have stopped them but they didn't.

Stoke winning the FA will make the loss to Shitty more bearable.

I hope Shitty will pull an Arsenal - lose even when the majority expects them to win!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I'm with you on that one @Maich...it'll be hilarious if Stoke win. In retrospect, I think Fergie got the line up wrong...look at what happenend when Anderson came in...Scholes should be left out for games against mid level teams since he's clearly not Giggs and I can't for the life of me understand how Giggs was not even on the bench.

Anyway, you win some you lose some but Fergie has now lost 3 FA's because of taking things for granted - the final we lost to Chelsea, 2009 semis and now this one. I felt bad for VdS, he deserved the one club trophy that has eluded him. I've said enough about Carrick in previous posts

I also felt very bad VDS. With the kind of service he has given to Man U, the team really needed to win this for him.

But to be fair to the team, the double error that led to the goal started with him. I know we love the man but let the truth be told.

As for Carrick, that was a high school error - and I'm being harsh on high school football players! How do you make such an error in a cup semi final and you are under no pressure! As a matter of fact, how do you make such an error in any top flight match even if you are 5 - 0 up?
