And what is happening to the difference in prices between Petrol and Diesel? It used to be Kshs. 10/= or more. I gather the tax varies by approximately that much. These fellows must be making a killing on Diesel. On a different note, when are airtel opening petrol stations? We could use some 'oil war' right now. Wait until you see how much your monthly shopping will cost you at the end of this month! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

just wondering there was a time the price per barrel had gone up to more than US$120.00 and the price of fuel was not even KES100.00. now the price is about US$108 per b (i stand corrected) what is happening now to make the price go that far and yet we have controls. Could it be that these prices are being manipulated at some point..may be there are guys making the extra shilling for 2012 elections? Think the unthinkable but wear a dark suit

High time we swallowed our pride and started car pooling. Kama mnajuana, mshikane mikono. It doesnt help having four or five people, each driving his/her car alone and you live in the same environ and go to the same town. Tuchukue (price) control. if u live in Ngummo and work in CBD it shouldn't affect you a dot - unaweka petroli kidogo tu to enable your ride climb that ka-Citi mortuary hill, then since Valley Rd is mteremko all the way to CBD, unaweka gari free nyweee till parking at CBD. to cut fuel costs, consider porting kwa ka SQ fulani in Ngummo tihihii
