@Mwenza - It is actually tearing you apart since 1991 - that's when Giggsy started playing for Man U. If you look at the banner carefully, there is a '1' on each side of 99.

On the other hand, there are people who say tearing you apart since '99 in reference to the tearing the Arsenal defense got from him in the '99 FA semi final - on our way to an unprecedented treble. The banner on the Stretford end which was submitted after request for the celebration of Giggs' 20 years as a Man U player reads "...tearing you apart since 1991".

It really doesn't matter whichever you use though. The fact is that Giggs has been tearing 'them' apart. I personally use 99 when referring to Arsenal - in tribute to that magnificent goal in 99 and 1991 when referring to everyone else.

Read some more about the banner.

@MaichBlack...Agreed.................Though the 1999 one, as you pointed out, is the sexier of the two. I particularly will never forget that night and yet Roy Keane had been red-carded.

Giggs, a model professional that young footballers need to emulate. He goes quietly about his business and is never full of himself. Am no man u fan but we give credit where it is deserved. Balotelli needs a few lessons from the Welshman.

If Drogba had been in that much from the beginning I believe proceedings would have been much closer - Roman has never learnt, the only way to win the CL is not interefere with the coach...Jose would have won him one by now. I understand that Valdano is the one who suggested the line up for the Real squad that was humiliated 5-0 by Barca in the last El Classico

I'm still watching the replays. Ati bao ya pili iliingia after how many seconds from the restart? Drogba must have been gutted.

@smano, spot on. Drogba would have thrived in big games. No sooner had he entered than akina Vidic started paying attention. You could see his turns and shots. Its not the coach who lost them the tie, its the owner. But coach ataenda. Marcelo Lippi could be coming in...

Doesn't matter who's coming in...Roman won't win the CL with such a demagogue hand. Why do I have a feeling Real will beat Barca? Assuming they have already beaten Spurs? That would be quite something
