If someone has been around from the days of SK until now and does not understand that politics, other than inflation (largely fuel driven) and drought, is one of the factors highly determining Kenya's economic growth and return on investment in 2011 and as it heads into 2012, pls sign off.

...Maybe one day, such a person will realize that the Kenyan companies they invest in actually operate in Kenya, this currently politically charged Kenya. The one whose soon-to-be governance is being interrogated by investors in Wazua...

In all seriousness, Wazua has been kind enough for "very very serious" investors by creating site categories. All one needs to do is Click on the right one!

Since the fall of MASHADA.COM the orphans have had to look for every available forum to discuss petty politics.

and if Wazua admin does not curb the amount of political rhetoric in these forum.. hata wazua itafungwa... or better still define what this site is for....

i personally joined Wazua after long being a keen reader of StocksKenya looking for enlightened business minded people to help a novice like i grow...

but it has turned out to be a political forum..
And most of the loud mouthed political analysts can't even teach you anything out of the ordinary regarding business or stocks..Infact they never feature there... they open thread after thread after thread on politics and porn related talk.

There is something called freedom of expression (re Article 33 of the Constitution). So long as the discussions here, whether on politics or anything else are within the confines of said Article, there is absolutely no problem. Please do not take us back to Egypt aka Moi's era when even the mention of Nyayo in a bar could you land you in court on sedition/treason charges. Some Kenyans are not "poundfoolish" to go back there.

Im simply expressing that right you've well quoted... just as you are..
Non the less i dont think Wazua was ment to be 93% political hogwash.. you could go look for votes, podiums ni mingi za kupigia kelele

@Otismalls the problem is that every discussion, including those purely economical still get quagmired by political nonsense...

@ mwenza, can you honestly equate hiring a foreign CJ for kenya with hiring foreign lawyers to represent you in a foreign court?

It is one thing to prefer a foreigner for the country's Chief Justice and it is quite another to select the best and experienced lawyers to represent you at the Hague where your personal liberty is at stake. Stop comparing lemons and passion fruits! Please name any Kenyan lawyer who has represented an accused person before the ICC. And do not tell me about ICTR.[/quote]

@Mpenzi i do believe that if we were to look for merit then the issue of foreigners would not apply coz clearly u ar talking about merit

@pound, im sure u werent in sk in 2007 in the times of georgesoros. Wazua is way too civil today, with a few emotional bursts here n there. Teach you on business n stocks? Kisha mwanahisa afanye nini? How do you expect a history tutor to teach you calculus? Politics is part and parcel of YOUR daily life n thats why you are featuring in this thread!

Now tell me: what has Uhuru done for you guys? Raila has helped create democratic space, are you saying that is not important?

What has Ruto done for Kenya? And Kalonozo? It really depends on what one considers .....

It is not automatic that if Raila is not my man, then all these others are my alternatives. I could be that alternative though you know me not Drool I want someone who has never done anything for me for president, i gave other fellows a chance to do some for me but just pretended they were

Sufuria za Ugali

Now that sufuria za ugali zimeongezeka....I heard a romour that RAO had his cockpit tinkered with so much by M01 in detention. Is it true that he can no longer execute a perfect touch down at the airport even with tower and instrument assistance?
