These are the kind of stories we want to hear, not the stupid politics that a section of leaders with no economic background like peddling.
I'm sad Baks will have to leave next year.
In his reign, a whole lot of guys who believe in saving and investments have been pulled out from poverty to the other side, through the favorable policies he set in motion.
For instance, think of the prices some of these bank stocks were going for just before 2003, factor in the countless bonus and splits and their current prices.
Look at the current prices of land along Mombasa rd to Emali and now even to Oloitokitok vs pre 2003, Thika rd. You are talking of more than 1000% capital appreciation.
Yet in 2007, he was vilified, than crucified, but on the "3rd day", he rose again!
Sorry for digressing a bit, back to the issue, unfortunatley, dont own land in Kiambu county, betting big on Kajiado county as it has vast unoccupied tracks of land throw away prices!

In a pious apologetic angelic self righteous mien...

somebody had to squeeze in politics here as well..
The fool is worse of than the politicians he condemns.....

In similar fashion
Sorry to digress.. Im also thinking some small 'centres' along the highway are going to stagnate or die.. especially those not near any junction...
