The 5 Billion loan of Equity Bank to City Hall at an interest rate of 10% is a sign of desperation by the bank to grow its loan portfolio,Also the loan to RVR is a high risk given the state of the railway line in Kenya.
Equity Bank has reached maturity and the prospects of double digit growth are dim.
