Ain't gonna happen. Emotions were running high (coming from 2 - 0 down to 3 - 2 up; scoring a penalty against a goal keeper you've been practicing penalty kicks with the whole week; Scoring a hat trick after a trying time full of criticism etc.), the expletive was barely audible, there is no evidence it was directed at anyone, the lad apologized immediately etc.
I know the FA might try to make a point especially with the recent talk about being more strict with player behaviour, but there is no way they are banning him for 7 games. Worst case scenario - he's banned for 3 games; Most probable scenario - He's not banned for any game - warning and fine likely.
And what's with this hypocrisy - @guka included. You'd think Rooney abused the queen. Everyone swears everyday. @guka, you've probably sworn at a driver who cut you in today or something. Everyone is behaving as if he/she is a saint. wtf??? There, I said it.
What he said was inappropriate but it's being blown out of proportion.
Anywho, most British papers have known to focus on his performance yesterday in their headlines as opposed to his swearing.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
