After seeing Pan Africa's performance, what are Jubilee's prospects? FY 2009 they gave a bonus of 10:1 & a div of 4.50(FY 2008 4.25) on an EPS of 18.33. The bonus issue amounted to around 22.5M, the closing retained earnings was around 3.142B according to their Statement of Changes in Equity thus leaving them with around 3.12B in Retained Earnings, with their various new projects in UG, do we expect anything of the sort for FY 2010?

Well, one thing I like about this company is their huge investment in the stock market. The NSE did very well last year and this should reflect in their profits. They also own lots of DTB which rallied mightily last year. For this one reason I think we have something better than Panafrica here. As I always say about Jubilee. Lets sit back and watch.smile

I think Jubilee will post not less than 50% increase in end year EPS..assuming a 50% increase in end year EPS that will bring the end year PE to 6.9(190/27.5) which is cheap considering most financials are trading above the PE of 12...Madam Guru what do you say...

I wonder what they plan to do with all those retained earnings. They will really get good value from the subdued market this year. Oh my what a war chest!!Their portfolio managers must be sweating with anticipation....
