By the way Wazuans, you can get land from as little as 280-300k an acre, very good land for farming, with readily available water and also access to electricity. The land is freehold. Trust me, you will make your money back from farming tomatoes and onions or other vegetables within a year or less. The good thing is that we have cheap labor from Tanzania, and they are very honest and hardworking.
You cant go wrong buying land in Loitokitok.

you are right @brayo. do you have any land anywhere else in ltk isipokuwa hiyo ya amboseli? rates?

@Tupac, i have very good agricultural land , near the tarmac road, and in an area where there are many farmers, and also near a river. I would not encourage anyone to do farming near the Amboseli as the wild animals there will help you harvest it, and that is why I mentioned the fact that these huge tracts of land will be suitable for putting up a Tourist facility e.g. tented camp , eco camp or safari lodge. I can get you good freehold land from 280-350k an acre, just tell me your budget and how much land you want.
If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!

@kulaRaha, Yes, I do have pictures and videos. However most of these are for the large pieces of lands, will rummage through my picture collection and send you some pictures of the lands which I can get for you. Will notify you when I send the pics. Tell me your budget per acre and how many acres you want will be able to get you a good deal. And what you intend to do with the land, is it farming, setting up a homestead, speculation? Will then advise you accordingly.
If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!

brayokasa4 : If you indeed have "been smiling all the way to the bank since I planted 60acres of tomatoes" utilize the land for sale for more tomato farming rather than selling it. Otherwise you would be eating your goose that lays your golden eggs.

Your prices are on the higher end. I acre 25 Kms in the interior of Kiserian-Isinya road goes for around 600k!

True that @Gathige, its a free market, willing buyer willing seller basis. To clarify, I have just recently started planting the tomatoes and have so far planted two season. However farming 60 acres is no joke, and I opt to do it once a year, for a season of three months, as Its a hands on job.
I have enough land for farming but limited water, though i have drilled a borehole, I cant stretch the capacity.
Also, my prices vary, for example 60 acres at 7m and 2 acres at 6m, and an acre of farmland for 300k . It depends on location and infrastructure, and how you want to utilise the land.
If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!

Cheapest you can get is 150-180k per acre. However there would be issues if you are farming there, as water is not reliable deep in the interior and access is also not good, as the roads get really bad during the rainy season. Also it will cost you to transport your produce up to the main road. I would suggest you consider getting a piece of land where other farmers are farming, near the road. The interior ones have issues with water and also title deeds. But I can look into it. What's your budget?
