Just thought of hw njoya was brutally beaten up. Who remembers what happened?

He was interviewed on K24's capital talk today. He said that their intention was to kill him but he was shielded bu some Italian press men. He said the beating was so brutal his heart stopped beating and had to be resucitated by Dr.Gikonyo. Said that at that time Kenya was worth dying for but not today because there is no ideology driving this nation.
