I am looking for land in the range of 2M. I'm sorry, the range you're working on is beyond my appetite for risk. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

How would you compare Kimana(never heard of the town before) to a town like, say, eldoret/kitale? Is it bigger/same/smaller? how about economic activities wise? Is it busier etc? If someone put office blocks there, who are the likely targets? 2acres at 6m o.n.o. As I stated before ,its willing buyer, willing seller,The 2 acre piece of land has a fence, a borehole, and three phase electricity. Kimana is a small town in Loitokitok division, a transit point for tourists heading into Amboseli National Park and a major agricultural town, well known for the production of tomatoes and onions among other spices. Its smaller that Eldoret, much smaller, but its a fast growing area due to the good road network, reliable electricity supply, proximity to the Tanzanian borders (smugglers have a field day there, buying sugar and rice at very cheap prices and selling them in Major towns at double the price) proximity to amboseli national park and a very peaceful environment despite the many tribes living there. If you put up office blocks there, the target would be Non-Governmental Organisations, real estate agents, government , among others. However apartments are in very high demand. The main source of income there is tourism and farming. Any more questions? Would be glad to clarify. If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!

Tricky land deal, this one... @jguru, yes, I know it does sound tricky. However, there is nothing fishy here. The lands in question are NOT inside the Amboseli National Park and there is a fence all round the Amboseli National Park . This land formerly belonged to the group ranches members, but it was subdivided in to parcels of 60 acres. Feel free to check it out in the Ministry of Lands or any other reliable source include the Kajiado County Council offices. Mada Hotels, have a camp there, so does the Serena Group, and Sopa Lodges. All documents in order, feel free to verify. Now, make me an offer. If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!

Thanks Yekeyeke. I already have some of these speculative plots I bought near Juja through Mhasibu. I am looking for something long term like this, but his pricing is a bit prohibitive, unless he is willing to subdivide those 60 acres. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

I'm sorry, the range you're working on is beyond my appetite for risk. Hey KulaRaha, you can get some good farming land at 300k an acre. Very good for farming crops such as onions and tomatoes, and readily available water for irrigation from the river, you just need to buy some pipes and small generator. You can even do fish farming there. Its 500 m from the tarmac road and the land is freehold. Interested? Trust me, if you plant well, get a good, cheap, Tanzanian guy who will supervise your farm, after three months you will get a very good harvest you will have recovered half your 2m in pure profit. will be going down to Loitokitok sometime soon, we can take a drive down there if interested. If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!

By the way Wazuans, you can get land from as little as 280-300k an acre, very good land for farming, with readily available water and also access to electricity. The land is freehold. Trust me, you will make your money back from farming tomatoes and onions or other vegetables within a year or less. The good thing is that we have cheap labor from Tanzania, and they are very honest and hardworking. You cant go wrong buying land in Loitokitok. If you think you can, and if you think you can't , either way, you are right!
