While we are on this topic, it is interesting to note that if you are to
compare prices on the last day of trading in 2010 i.e.
31.12.10 and
today, the
financials have generally held up pretty well. Only 2 of them have gone down by more than 10% i.e. KNRE from 11.05 to 9.85 and Coop from 19 to 16.50. Meanwhile, KCB

, DTB and PanAfric have gone up, the last in a fairly big way.
BTW, I have ignored Olympia, which I do not consider to be a financial and which in any case, I
delisted in my mind A LONG TIME AGO.
So it's quite possible that there are folks

whose portfolio is still in the green even as others wail and gnash their teeth! This is especially more so if one was nimble enough to exit some positions before they started their fall into the slough of despond!
