So, either the book "the enigma of kisumu" is full of lies or Raila is lying about being innocent. In the book, he confessed top attempting to topple the governmnet. so he was very guilty. on the other hand, the kacheros had worked on his balls into a pulp to a point where making noice became irrelevant.
