This dude is unable to raise money for his ticket and has appealed to the ICC to foot the same! I mean the guy should have thought of the consequences before running his mouth para para para war mongering like he is sick in the head!!!

LOL! I'm sure they can afford a one-way ticket to the Hague with free accommodation next to state guests like Charles Taylor.

The ICC caters for transport and the kingly accommodation in their detention.

Thus Sang is not wrong but he needs to know that such costs are recoverable from his estate if proven guilty.

You know; The Hague is not Makadara Law Courts! You need quite some money to get there.

If cops arrest you for a crime, they transport you to the court to answer the charges.

Therefore, it is up to Ocampo to foot the transport bill of all the accused. It's that simple! So I support Sang's position on this one.

And BTW; let's not assume he is guilty until the court rules. If you heard him saying the things they accuse him of, then go and give evidence of the same.
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Arap Sang is one of those fellows who should be paraded at Kibera Law Courts, he is not Hague material. If he was working for ODM, then ODM is very well represented at the Hague.

Ocampo said that he needed to show balance and that is probably why he put in Sang there so that there can three people from both sides. That i find weirdd'oh!

He should just ignore the summons then Ocampo will issue an arrest warrant for him.The kenya police will happily hand over and voila amefika without cost.

ICC should foot the bill for him. the "head hunted" him, they should pay fare and accommodation.

I also support the incarceration of the O6, but ARAP Sang has a point. I heard somewhere that he had raised Kindu 0.5m for his defense. Now if this money for the lawyers is swallowed by the ticket and hotels, the brazza will nothing to pay the lawyers with. And since ICC is not makandara law courts, you need a lawyer.
Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

Ocampo is a joke!! ICC tries the likes of akina Charles Taylor, Slobodan Milosevic not people like Arap Sang!! It would even be more fitting to put Franklin Bett or Jackson Kibor not people like Arap Sang!

So if the ICC can pay for transport, meals and accommodation then maybe as part of the judicial reforms we can extend the same for local cases in our court systems. Therefore if I'm in Mombasa and my case is in say Kisumu, I can get the court to pay my way. Just a thought.
