Books closure i.e. guyz who got in 4 divs are leavin.
Expect a continued drop for the short run, hope to pick up some b4 the split (hopefully at around 54) for extremely shortterm purposes.

Share is trading ex-div today hence the drop in price. Share will split at the end of May, so nothing to excite the market for now. I actually like BBK at this price 57-60. It means it has dropped by more than the dividend and I expect a reasonable growth in Q1 PAT, although not necessarily from growth in the loan book. It's a BUY in my books for the non-aggresive investors. Worst case is that if the mkt tanks, Barclays is unlikely to drop too much.

I know;can u explain why with a dividend of 4.71 and a split of 4:1 the share price should fall that hard?
I expected kidu (67-4) = 63 and not 60.

I thought those who own shares by the midnight of 15-Mar-2011 are qualified for didvidends d'oh! .

When do one qualify for the share split?
