I believe this is the right time for us for Arsene Wenger to leave Arsenal and go.
You cant keep on play entertaining football and fall short of winning a single title for 6 years!
Holding Man-U at 60 to 40 percentage on ball possession and falling to score a single consolation goal is Hogwash.

I was equally disappointed but in Wenger we trust

In Wenger we trust.....people are so quick in dismissing Arsenal (especially man Utd fans) whenever the lose a match, Chelsea got knocked out of the FA Cup and their chances of winning the EPL are very slim yet we don't hear alot of critiscm coming their way. They spent 50m pounds on Torres which is more than what it cost Wenger initially to sign everyone in his squad, that hasn't made them competitive. Same can be said about Spurs....only chance of silverware is CL, L'pool & Man City.

Do not blame the guy. The board decided that they were to move to Emirates with young players because of finances. Wenger has kept Arsenal relevant so far without heavy purchases. Remember he brought in Henry, Anelka, Bergkamp, Viera, Petit, Lehman among others. The ability to bring such players lies with the main person in charge of football. David Dein was in charge then. You are blaming the wrong guy who has done very well.

@Taz, you dont get Impunity's point (who is, btw, an Arsenal fan). 6 years is a long time for a team of Arsenal's stature. We are not looking at this season, we are not looking at one season. So dont compare Arsenal with Chelsea, they are still the EPL defending champions and have won 3 of the last 6 EPL titles. Dont compare your team with Man City or Spurs; these are still below Arsenal, but are slowly on the ascendancy. But remember, soon it could be 10 years...

Maybe you need to look the Liverpool way. In 1996, they may have said, its been 6 years but if we win the EPL, the 6 years will be forgotten. And now look, this is the 21st year of not winning the EPL. Luckily for them, they won other cups as well, but they've not been the same team again.

Maybe at Impunity is right, there comes a time when, in the face of the stiff competition, the coach has to either adjust his philosophy or simply leave. Emirates has the most expensive seats, and what do their fans get for their value? Nothing. Just entertaining football. Heck, even Barca win trophies with their brand of football.

And with City and Spurs on the ascendancy, plus a revitalised Liverpool, the dark days could be ahead...

@Jus Blazin...we've heard so many predictions on Arsenal for the past 6 yrs but we've never failed to qualify for the CL and very few can match our record in FA Cup and the League... We are 2nd in the league with the best away record, @mcreggae who said we are sorry ourselves. The Arsenal board can't get rid of Wenger because he has achieved so much with very little resources....a trophy would be for the fans not the management because all other targets have been achieved. ARSENE KNOWS!

May be this poem will soothe him

Four Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall,
Four Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall,
And If One Nice Trophy Should Accidently Fall,
There'll Be Three Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall,
Three Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall,
And If One Nice Trophy Should Accidently Fall,
There'll Be Two Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall,
Two Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall,
And If One Nice Trophy Should Accidently Fall,
There'll Be One Nice Trophy Hanging On The Wall,
One Nice Trophy Hanging On The Wall,
And When The Reds Visit The Femirates And Bring Their Eyes To Bawl
There'll Be No Nice Trophies Hanging On The Wall.......... (Another Trophyless Season Six)

This is not the time to Sack the Doc!Arsene Wenger is arguably the most successful manager at at Arsenal.Within two years of his arrival we had a number of silverware in our cabinets. He also oversaw the move from Highbury to the emirates and set together one of the best ever squad in the EPL at the time who later were to be named the invincible' after a 49 game unbeaten run that also gave us the double. He moulded a team that had names like sendros, Henrie,Vierra etc who were unheard of before coming to the EPL.This group have since left with the last leaving last season and Wenger had already established another lot to replace the invincible.Despite the pain of loosing three cups in a span of two weeks, i think the current team has done well ans all is need is the injection of passion and a winning attitude which is lacking. This can be done by bringing in a few experienced players who have a winning mentality to add the required ingredient....that is set to dominate the EPL and European football in the near future.Wenger need to remain to over see this!
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Those who are asking for the sacking of Wenger should tell us whom they expect to replace him and whether that person will immediately step in and bring results. Other than Guardila(Barca) which manager can step in and take arsenal to that higher level.

A change in manager will result in a change of system for which the players might not be suited. this in turn will mean a change of players which will take time. And in that time those trophies will still be elusive.

I think the board must balance between profits and trophies with wenger. its the balance thats lacking.

Arsenal neeed to now pull back from the brink of a bad run that is threatening to unravel their season. If they play the way they did against man-u, there are sure to be more losses coming their way.

That was an uninspiring arsenal game...lacking real threat. and congrats to man-u they managed to score the ala-liverpool-kuyt poacher's goals against arsenal.

Lets look forward to tonight with the visit of mersaille!

I've read Impunity's post and that's why i said a trophy would be for the fans but the board are fully satisfied with wenger's performance off the field. If Wenger was to leave Arsenal, his signature would be sought by almost all top clubs in Europe. He has achieved success in the past so its not a matter of him being a failure.....what the board needs to do is to forget about profits for just one season and let Wenger compete with Chelsea,Man City and Man Utd in the transfer market.

You should be talking from a fan's point of view. Unless you are a member of that board. Fans want success. And for a club of Arsenal's stature, success means titles. Wachana na mambo ya board. Wanalipwa mshahara yao. Wewe ni fan.

Jus Blazin.....If the fans were against Wenger, the management would have sacked him along time ago.
