Differing with Marende doen't make me PNU! Mimi ni ODM kabisa. PNU is the last thing I would ever associate with. Of course,am secretly happy for the loaded message Marende is passing to PNU.

Has his decision resolved the issue at hand? No.
Are Kenyans winners from his decision? No.

It was an opportunity missed in terms of introducing a new way of resolving any conflicts in the coalition especially around appointments. A coalition is a consensus form of govt such that every appointment should have both heads' signatures. But since Gen Kiguoya fears consultation,every app he makes without RAO's signature should go to bunge. Going fwd,any appointments for parastatal heads,PS,diplomats should be done through the relevant parliament committee.

The interest of the nation is more important than an individual.Neither ODM nor PNU won or lost. Kenyans won from Marende's decision.

I mean fundamental analysis,you get me? Fundamental analysis of a business involves analyzing its financial statements and health,its management and competitive advantages,and its competitors

The decision borrowed heavily from SOs........It's more of a parliamentary privilege which cannot be challenged in a court of law

fundaah nini tena. your opinion is safe- express and keep it! Sure Kalonzo said PNU is going to court. I repeat,PNU is going to court. I do no see them succeeding in asking the court to order the Speaker to get his ass off the HBC chair or accept so and so as Leader of government business. The issues are weighty and some guy called wanguhu ng'ang'a is ahead of them and has already filed suit on the same issues.

Prevention

Leaders should assign each member the role of 'critical evaluator'. This allows each member to freely air objections and doubts.
Higher-ups should not express an opinion when assigning a task to a group.
The organization should set up several independent groups,working on the same problem.
All effective alternatives should be examined.
Each member should discuss the group's ideas with trusted people outside of the group.
The group should invite outside experts into meetings. Group members should be allowed to discuss with and question the outside experts.
At least one group member should be assigned the role of Devil's advocate. This should be a different person for each meeting.
