Guys,please help.The Police in Nyahururu Police Station have been repeatedly harrassing me anytime that my ex-husband pays them to do so.I have around 6 cases in the court mpaka av decided to go on the run. Please guys,am 25,I have 2 kids and at this rate,I will either be jailed or lose my job.What should I do? I cant afford a Lawyer.The guy works for Safaricom na anaitwa Steve Thuo,so its like he's untouchable.

Infact,last week 2 police officers arrested me and beat me up during the arrest even i the cells,then they refused to take me to hosi and now theyre charging me with assaulting a police officer.Guys lazima ningejitetea.He gave me a black eye,I bit off his finger,na nikamchapa mateke.His name is JOMO CHAPIA.Instead of charing me in court on monday,they gave me a cash bail of 8K on tuesday and told me to come back on thursday. Simply coz they're paid to ensure I lose my job.Lakini the cashbail receipt is reading 5K.

The next day,my ex bribed some two more officers,MBOTO AND OMONDI,they went to my boyfriend's house,confiscated our property,including my mobile phones and then they arrested him.Finally,they released him without charge but they took a bribe of 5K.

So SKerians kama kuna lawyer please assist me,we can work out a way to pay u.

Everybody must be ready to work for their own stomach....not selfishness....but responsibility.Its unhealthy to wait for manna from heaven all the time and getting disappointed when it doesn't come to you!

which 'finger' did you bite off? by the way is your story for real? go to FIDA and the PPO and let them know what is happening. i hope you can prove most of the claims you have made. but make no mistake,jela utenda,for biting his finger... so you may want to calm down and try come to some compromise with this thuo guy so he can drop charges and maybe ... somehow .... you may avoid being charged by the state. is he the father of the 2 kids? if so then you have leverage ... use it. and edit you post and remove names. the guy is probably reading this and may be able to anticipate you next move. think straight

Go to Fida now! Not tomorrow. Its only them who can help you. and once the police see that these guys are involved they will back off kidogo. Plus Fida have a number of 'safe houses' for battered women

I support ot Pondi has advised. But please please edit yo post and remove the names u can disclose them to your lawyer or FIDA but not here. May God see u thru this.

Name and shame the pigs. This may slow them down a bit. My advise,relocate from their area of jurisdiction. You have not mentioned the nature of the other 5 offenses. Assault carries a sentense of two years or a fine of 5000 bob. Try to settle this matter out of court with the cop. You should by now have had a medical examination and recorded a statement with the police boss of the station. In case of future arrest over the assault,you could use your complaint as a counter measure. Lets hear about the other charges. Perhaps they may not hold water.
